RECTOR’S PROFILE
Dr Makoji Stephen hails from Ogbabo in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State. He graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with a Degree in Public Administration in the year 1998. He, thereafter, proceeded to Benue State University, Makurdi, where he read a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Public Administration. In the year 2008, he proceeded to the University of Salford, Greater Manchester to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Human Resource Management. In the year 2010, he was admitted for his PhD programme in Business and Management with specialization in Human Resource Management (HRM) as a Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Scholar at the University of Salford Business School, Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom. Prior to his appointment as Rector, he had over 25 years’ experience lecturing in the Federal Polytechnic Idah, Kogi State and other Higher Education Institutions abroad. He is a member of many professional Associations both within and abroad.
His main interest is to put to work his knowledge and skills in furthering Human Resource Development in Higher Education Institutions (HEI’s), and in so doing, learning on the field and building a further dossier of knowledge in this area of interest through academic interaction and social research.
