REQUIREMENT FOR HND PROGRAMME

Step 1: Obtain ND Certificate

You must have a National Diploma (ND) in a related course from an accredited polytechnic.

Step 2: Meet Minimum Grade

Your ND result must be at least Lower Credit (CGPA 2.50).

Step 3: Complete Industrial Training (IT)

You must complete at least 1 year Industrial Training (IT) after ND.

  • If you have only a pass, you may need 2 years IT.

Step 4: Have Required O’Level Results

You need 5 credits (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) including English and Mathematics.

Step 5: Prepare Your Documents

  • ND result
  • IT certificate
  • Academic transcript
  • O’Level result
  • Birth certificate
  • Passport photographs

Step 6: Apply to the Polytechnic

  • Fill the HND application form
  • Attend screening or interview (no JAMB required for HND)
